Chopin in Bossa Nova, how to learn to play the Prelude in E minor in Bossa on the piano!
The inspiration behind Jobim and so many others left us with sublime melodies, masterfully harmonized. One of them is the prelude in E minor.
Inspired by this prelude, Antoine Hervé developed a method for learning piano, and more specifically Bossa Nova on the piano: "La Bossa-Pouce" (level 4).
The arrangement and accompanying MIDI file are, as usual, extremely well done (listen to the sample at the top left).
You don't need to know how to read music to play them; an illuminated MIDI keyboard is always displayed on the screen.
Here are videos containing exciting and progressive lessons that will guide you through this exploration. All you have to do is follow the coach and everything will be done simply and step by step.
Remember that online coaches are available virtually 24/7 and can repeat things as many times as you want without ever losing patience!

These courses are divided into two packages (beginner and intermediate), starting at beginner level (Levels 1 & 2) and gradually progressing to intermediate (Levels 3 & 4).

Now, settle down on Copacabana beach and enjoy the sweetness and pleasures of Bossa Nova...

I really liked this score and this approach to Bossa Nova. I already liked the score for The Girl from Ipanema. To tell the truth, what I would really like is to have some Bossa Nova chord progressions that are a little different from the most well-known scores. Just for the pleasure of improvising and making my piano sing. The Corcovado score is truly exemplary. So, I'm very happy with these scores and I'm very pleased to be able to continue working with Antoine Herve, who is an excellent teacher.
