Jean-François Zygel's opinion in the Focus section of "La Terrasse":

"Antoine is not just a jazz pianist; I've heard him play Rachmaninoff concertos beautifully... He has a dual culture, like Keith Jarrett. He taught me a lot, particularly through his great sense of rhythm, but also through his listening to time. He has real inner energy, which allows him to manage improvisation very well. His relationship with the audience is truly exceptional..."

"Endorphins guaranteed!" - Femme Actuelle

"Of course, he is one of the greatest pianists of our time. But he also plays the 'pedagogue,' that not-so-common, if not rare, instrument that enables the miracle between an art—or a science—and the audience." - Citizen Jazz

"Antoine Hervé accomplishes a remarkable feat here (...), vividly blending the historical reality of the musicians he illustrates with an update of the sometimes complex musical elements they employ, which he manages to illuminate in an almost natural and always playful manner." - Pianiste Magazine

"The analyses enlighten, the anecdotes enchant, the humorous touches delight." Libération

"Luminous" - France Musique

"Fascinating" - La Terrasse

"A magnificent jazz pianist" - Michel Contat - Télérama

"The explanations are clear, entertaining, and musically insightful, but above all, they are accessible to everyone." - Anne-Marie Gustave – Télérama

"The audience is captivated" - Alain Gauthier - La Terrasse

"Fascinating and useful" - Jean-Luc Caradec
