For this  Jazz Lesson, Antoine Hervé sits in front of his piano and tells us the story of Carlos Jobim, and gives us some keys to his most famous compositions.

He is accompanied on stage by singer Rolando Faria, one of the greatest

Brazilian singer.

Une heure et demie au piano avec un des grands artistes du genre, pour décrypter l’univers musical d’un géant du Jazz

 Antoine Hervé, pianiste-compositeur de tout premier plan, ancien directeur de l’Orchestre National de Jazz, offre aux amateurs de jazz - ou à ceux qui veulent simplement le découvrir - quelques clés pour entrer dans l’univers des grands du jazz.

Il propose d’illustrer au piano de manière vivante, humoristique et divertissante la vie et l’œuvre de quelques géants du jazz, ainsi que quelques thèmes qui lui sont chers.

Sur scène, un écran géant montre les mains du pianiste à l’œuvre sur le clavier.

 Pour cette Leçon de Jazz, Antoine Hervé nous raconte derrière son piano l'histoire de Carlos Jobim et nous livre quelques clés de ses compositions les plus célèbres.

Antonio Carlos Jobim est considéré à travers le monde comme l'un des pères de la Bossa Nova. L'originalité rythmique et la richesse harmonique de ses compositions ont immédiatement influencés les improvisateurs du jazz. Ses sources d'inspiration proviennent de compositeurs tels que Frédéric Chopin, Claude Debussy ou encore Bill Evans.

Antoine Hervé a demandé au chanteur Rolando Faria, ex «Les Étoiles», carioca de naissance, de venir mettre à contribution son immense talent musical et poétique. Ensemble, ils vont nous raconter la fabuleuse histoire de la Bossa-Nova.
